Collier county

In 1962 the Collier County seat was moved from Everglades City to Naples. Today the population of Everglades City is 348 while the population of Naples is approximately 20,000. In 2005 Hurricane Wilma struck and damaged Everglades City; the charming town has since been completely restored.
